Attached below (in pdf format) is a table of boat performance and stability calculations for the range of larger Swallow Boats, with and without ballast, with three non-Swallow Boats thrown in for comparison. The older entries were computed using this calculator http://nsc.ca/nsc_library/tools/boat_metrics.htm which no longer seems to exist. New entries (for the BC26 and Drascombe Lugger) have been calculated using this tool, which only seems to work properly in Imperial measurements http://www.sloopit.co.uk/sailing/br_calc.asp
The calculations for the BR20 also measure the effects of having a smaller mainsail, recently advocated in the forum for everyday cruising, and of removing the blue foam glued to the underside of the ballast tank roof, thus increasing the amount of water ballast. This was also discussed recently in the forum.
