Having problems with Gallery

Is anyone else having problems viewing the Gallery?

I have tried on 2 or 3 PCs over the last week and keep getting the following:

[album id=1 template=compact        "






And nothing else??

Copy of reply from Jonathan on a previous post:

A recent website "upgrade" broke the gallery. I'm planning to replace it with a Flickr gallery and that is progressing, but sailing, etc, has taken priority this summer. I hope to get back to this soon....

Unfortunately I don't have anything to add to my previous update. I *will* look at this but just haven't had any free time recently. This is one of my winter projects!
