Stopping points

When towing Vagabond, I'm always aware that the "train" is quite long and therefore it's difficult to know where suitable stop off points can be found. UK motorways aren't too much of a problem because you can always pretend you are really an artic. but when going across country, it's another matter.
I wonder if it would be useful if we compiled a data base of such places (if this is technically possible on this forum?) - members could then add known spots with a date of when checked out - or does anyone know where one exists on the web?

That is such a good idea! All we can add to it at the moment is to recommend the long drive leading to Whitwell at Rutland - which, although marked with double yellow lines, if you arrive at midnight, there is plenty of room to park up until opening time!
So how can we compile this data base?
