Has everyone else received the e-mail? Looks good and well organised. Except for the missing posting here, perhaps.

Perhaps they don't realise that old farts like me don't use Twitface.

Is no one going to this? I'm surprised by lack of response or enthusiasm shown here, in the forum

I note that no one has added this event to the Events list of this website.

And that Swallow Yachts (or the new bit of it, Swallow Events) has failed to announce the Raid here.

I double check to see I've got the right year. Yes. 2021. 20- to 24-Sep

Has everyone gone to Facebook?

Who else is joining the raid?

Sue Milne

I can confirm that we will be hosting a Swallow Yachts Raid based out of Cobnor on 20th -24th September 2021.  Cobnor has fantastic facilities and are well equipped to ensure we have a fantastic week with a good mix of sailing and socialising! If you would like to register for the event please email me at events@swallowyachts.com and I will send you a booking form.  I will be keeping you updated on more information of both the Cobnor event and others including the announcement of dates for Mylor, Falmouth in 2022 on this forum, the association facebook page and Swallow Events facebook page.

Thank you to Sue Milne , the Swallow Events Team and our hosts at Cobnor for the organisation of this inaugural and successful event at Chichester.

We were blessed with blue skies , temperatures of 20 degrees , stunning sunsets , sunrises and moonrises every day. There were light winds to tax the rowers , sea breezes , and a freshening Force 3-4 on the final day , thus something for everyone. Not to mention the tides. Some even managed a swim, though some of us not deliberately!

The catering and social side of the event was most enjoyable in the Sailing Centre , Local Pub , and out on the field for a fish and chip supper with mobile bar and gathering round the fire pit .

Thank you to all the participants for the friendly atmosphere and particularly for the BRe owners who were willing to share their boats and experience to our guests interested in Swallow Yachts .

We hope to be able to return again next year , and look forward to forthcoming events.

PS can someone please post a few pictures ?

We had a fabulous week at Cobnor and I would like to thank all who participated with such enthusiasm.  I am sorting my way through photographs and will post some here soon.  We hope to return to Cobnor next year along with visiting Mylor in Falmouth next July 11- 15th.   Please contact me  (events@swallowyachts.com) if you are interested in signing up for either of these Raids and or being kept up to date on new events as they become available.
