Thanks for your reply Ged. Struggling to get images up as the page freezes when I try to upload the attachments.
The oars are a pale hardwood - possibly beech with stainless steel connectors and rubber bushes at the rowlock position. I understand they were made in Italy.

How long are they, jointed of course. The heading says 300 m which can't be correct.
