Thanks for letting me post here for free, I appreciate it. No BR 17s for sale at the moment though. I ended up buying a smaller, much lighter rotomolded dinghy (Hartley 12). To be fitted out with oarlocks and maybe water ballast to make a good beachcruiser.

Hope all goes well with your Hartley 12, not a boat I'm familiar with.

However, I've had 5 Supernovas over the years, 4 of them brand new from Hartley Boats.
Still have one atm, but not raced this last year, for obvs reasons!
Think this one will "see me out".

I've always found the Hartley family, and their team to be exceptionally helpful and always fair/reasonable.
Many parallels with Swallow!

The company is amazingly supportive of the Supernova Class racing, and they donate many valuable prizes at the nationals, draw/raffle prizes, and sponsorship too.
I believe the overall Supernova package offers exceptional VFM.
