A change in personal circumstances means we won't be able to use our BayCruiser 26, sail number 11, "Bagpuss", as much as hoped and planned for the next few years. Hence, we are selling her rather than keeping her in storage. She was built in 2017 and is in excellent condition, having been stored in a covered barn each winter and generally on a trailer during summers. An extensive range of options and customisations were added to this boat and these are listed below. Photos are attached to this post and there's a link below to more photos and another link to a YouTube video showing the hull condition. Also below is a link to Swallow Yacht's standard specifications for the BC26. If you may be interested in buying Bagpuss or would like more information then please contact me via personal message on the forum or via email: jonathan at jdstuart.com.

Note that some photos were taken with a wide angle lens to fit in more of the boat, but that makes the boat look longer and narrower than it is really the case.

Neville Holmes

Please can you advise the plated gross trailer weight and boat location.

Jonathan Stuart

Hi Neville,

The trailer's maximum gross weight according to the plate is 3000kg (see attached photo). We estimate the fully loaded weight of boat, trailer, rigging, engine and options to be 2330kg. I have attached Swallow Yachts' weight calculator which shows how this number was calculated.

Many thanks,

Jonathan
