At the Southampton Boat Show the other day, I suggested to Matt that the Whisper's lightness might make it useful as a chase tender for very large superyachts, being easily winched aboard when not in use.  He thought not, as it currently isn't fast enough, although the hull is designed for speeds of up to 36 knots.  The friend I was with, who knows about these things, also thought that it was insufficiently blingy. 

Some billionaires seem increasingly keen on demonstrating their green credentials, so perhaps the Whisper will be seen as more desirable when a suitable electric propulsion system is eventually fitted?  Stick an LED chandelier and gold taps in it and it's a winner.
