Rocket Fresh water pump

The Rocket Tap fitted to my BC23 has sprung a leak around the handle. I'm told the service kit might solve this but Valterra offer no guarantees. These are quite pricey to replace. I just wondered whether they are still fitted to the latest yachts and if anyone has fitted a different type of tap?

Hi Rod,
Yes but I don't have any experience with other types to compare.  About 12-14 pumps fills the kettle for 2 mugs of tea.  You have to get into the habit of leaving the pump handle pushed back otherwise the column of water falls back into the tank and your first pumps of the handle have to re-prime the tubing.
