Rob,
Spray the sail slides as well as the track, with a good coat or two of silicone spray lube. You will be amazed at the difference.

I had the same issue and given that I was in Gwbert at the time Matt sprayed the track and sliders on my boat and it certainly did the trick. Also, there is a joint in the track so make sure that isn't causing any snags - the sliders on mine were just catching on the joint and Matt gave it a very light sanding on the inside of the joint and that fixed it.
