Does anyone have a BC23 nice and snug on their driveway. Gracenote, like me is self isolating and I'm trying to finish a cockpit tent. I'm needing the measurement across the cockpit at the point below the aft end of the boom. I can send a photo and more explanation if anyone can help?
Thanks

Rod,

If you can provide some sort of sketch with the measurements that you need then I'll be happy to provide these as I will be at the boat tomorrow

Hi Martin, sorry I missed your reply. When are you next going? Regards Rod

No worries Rod.
I will probably be there tonight, but also tomorrow night and sometime during the weekend. I should have plenty of time to lift your measurements.

Thanks very much. Here is a snap of the tent thus far. I'm planning to make a back panel and want the measurements across the base of the 'tent' i.e. from one cockpit edge to the other and the height at the centre to from the base level to the point underneath the boom end.

Rod,

My boat is currently in the worskhop, mast and boom removed.
So I can only measure with of the coaming. Besides, height of the end of the boom would rely on your topping lift.

My BC23 Kestrel is on my drive in Stamford only the overhanging trees prevent me from raising the mast. It is under its mastdown cover at the moment but if I can help I am willing!
I also have a cockpit tent (see picture) which we are really pleased with.

Thanks very much for the responses. In fact I've now found the notebook where I jotted down the measurements, so long ago I had forgotten! Off to the sewing machine. Thanks again. Regards Rod
