The Torqeedo fell apart and that was before I started!

It's getting to be expensive, this bleeding edge enthusiasm for Torqeedo.  I ran the motor in reverse over a rock at Ullswater last Saturday and amongst other things broke the prop (see below), bent the prop shaft and broke the skeg.  This will cost an eye-watering £400 to repair plus carriage, the most expensive bit being the gearbox to which the prop shaft is attached and the second most the prop itself.  Plus the skeg, seals, labour etc etc.  Almost as much as a new Suzuki.  But at least I will get it back before I go up to Scotland on Saturday (boot camp preparing for Sail Caledonia).
