We were at Swallow this morning to see the progress of BC 23 "Foxwhelp". She looks lovely!
Also, congratulations to Andrew.
"Craic" is looking very fine and her restoration is well under way.  Very sorry not to be giving you a run for your money in the Caledonia Raid this year in "Pippin"!  I have had to cancel as I have to be back in California for those dates.  There is always 2023!

Mark,

Thank you for posting the photograph of 'CraiC' under restoration. You have captured the beauty of her lines with the perspective you have taken. I must admit I was partly inspired to have the work undertaken by Swallow Yachts by the excellent restoration you had done for 'Pippin' at the yard. It is also a credit to Matt Newlands and Claus Riepe for her original concept and construction as the first of the water ballasted 'Raid' boats. I am really pleased to have been entrusted with her care, and for her to look just as good as new again. Hopefully she will sail just as fast.

Perhaps we may meet up at one of the Swallow Events later in the year, if not at Sail Caledonia. Could you perhaps post a picture of 'Foxwhelp' for editorial balance.

Kind regards, Andrew
